It is good to respect the ministry. However, we do not follow after men. Man is not our Salvation.

Actually, the Bible does speak about following men of faith!!!

    Hebrews 6:12 KJV
12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

    Hebrews 6:12 NLT
12 Then you will not become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead, you will follow the example of those who are going to inherit God's promises because of their faith and endurance.

The Lord spoke to me many years ago from this verse saying, "FOLLOW FAITH MEN!!!" Glory!!! I have learned more about following Christ from "faith men" like Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and Kenneth Hagin than anyone else in 45 years of walking with Christ!!!

Over and over in the Bible we are exhorted to follow those men, male and female, who teach us how to follow Christ.

However, our salvation is not in men, it is in the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Look at these verses that speak of following Paul as he follows Christ:

    1 Corinthians 4:16
16 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.

    1 Corinthians 11:1
1 Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.

    Galatians 4:12
12 Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are:

    Philippians 3:17
17 Join together in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do.

    1 Thessalonians 1:6
6 And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost.

    2 Thessalonians 3:7...
7 For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us:

    2 Thessalonians 3:9
9 Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.

    Amen!

    Hebrews 13:7 KJV
Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

    Hebrews 13:7 AMP.
Remember your leaders and superiors in authority [for it was they] who brought to you the Word of God. Observe attentively and consider their manner of living (the outcome of their well-spent lives) and imitate their faith (their conviction that God exists and is the Creator and Ruler of all things, the Provider and Bestower of eternal salvation through Christ, and their leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness).

    Hebrews 13:7 NASB
Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith.

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...
    (Ephesians 4:17-18)

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...
    (Psalm 1)

One of the worst things you can do is to exalt man. Only God is to be exalted. Wake up people. Copeland is just a man who was saved from a rebellious sinful past. God does not need to be saved. He is perfect. He has no tendency to sin. I will choose to follow Jesus. Copeland does not compare.

Galatians 1:10 - For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

1 Thessalonians 2:4 - But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.

Proverbs 29:25 - The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

John 12:43 - For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

Isaiah 2:22 - Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?

Acts 5:29 - Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

    Colossians 3:23 - And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

2 Corinthians 5:9 - Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

Galatians 2:20 - I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

John 5:44 - How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?

Has The Holy Ghost Ever Really Left The Earth?
    Is The Pope Catholic....

Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born, can he?"

Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. "Do not be amazed that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'

"The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit."
John 3:4-8 (New American Standard Bible)

    Brother

Two things I ask from you; do not refuse me before I die: Remove falsehood and lies far from me; do not give me poverty or riches, feed me with my allotted portion of bread, lest I become satisfied and act deceptively and say, "Who is the Lord?" Or lest I become poor and steal and demean the name of my God. Proverbs 30:7-9 (NET Bible)

Brother Can You Spare A Dime

As they went on the way, a certain man said to him, "I want to follow you wherever you go." And Jesus said to him, "The foxes have holes, and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head." Luke 9:57-58 (New Heart English Bible)

Be Blessed Beloved Of The KING

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.
    Numbers 6:24-27 (King James Bible)

Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. Psalms 119:160 (King James Bible)

The Bible contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers. Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions are immutable.

Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you.

It is the traveler's map, the pilgrim's staff, the pilot's compass, the soldier's sword and the Christian's charter. Here too, Heaven is opened and the gates of Hell disclosed.

Christ is its grand subject, our good its design, and the glory of God its end. It should fill the memory, rule the heart and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently and prayerfully. It is a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory, and a river of pleasure.

It is given you in life, will be opened at the judgment, and be remembered forever. It involves the highest responsibility, rewards the greatest labor, and will condemn all who trifle with its sacred contents.

    Praying For The Beloved~!
No Matter Who's Pews They May Sit In

Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, "Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with this people into the land that the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall put them in possession of it. It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed." Deuteronomy 31:7- 8 (English Standard Version)

Any true man of God will discourage anyone to follow him. Instead he will point people to the Lord and encourage them to follow the LORD.

    Amen~!

A man who was born lame was in Lystra. He was always sitting because he had never been able to walk. He listened to what Paul was saying. Paul observed him closely and saw that the man believed he could be made well. So Paul said in a loud voice, "Stand up." The man jumped up and began to walk.

The crowds who saw what Paul had done shouted in the Lycaonian language, "The gods have come to us, and they look human." They addressed Barnabas as Zeus and Paul as Hermes because Paul did most of the talking. Zeus' temple was at the entrance to the city. The priest of the god Zeus brought bulls with flowery wreaths around their necks to the temple gates. The priest and the crowd wanted to offer a sacrifice [to Paul and Barnabas].

When the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard what was happening, they were very upset. They rushed into the crowd and said, "Men, what are you doing? We're human beings like you. We're spreading the Good News to you to turn you away from these worthless gods to the living God. The living God made the sky, the land, the sea, and everything in them.

In the past God allowed all people to live as they pleased. Yet, by doing good, he has given evidence of his existence. He gives you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons. He fills you with food and your lives with happiness."

Although Paul and Barnabas said these things, they hardly kept the crowd from sacrificing to them.

According to the morality "judges" on this Forum, Paul and the other apostles in the NT aren't "true men of God." I mean, heaven forbid that we should follow their example. #Ignorancegonetoseed

Certainly nothing wrong with following a godly example. But we do not follow men who are human and have a tendency to sin and lead astray. FOLLOW GOD AND YOU WILL NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED.
