How can they do something that God knows they won't. That makes no sense.

Victoryword would agree with you on that. You both believe that foreknowledge implies predestination. Victoryword doesn't believe in Calvinism however so his only option then is to believe in Open Theism.
Foreknowledge does not imply predestination. To the contrary, God's foreknowledge of a future event depends upon the outcome of that event, which could therefore have been different since free will is involved.
You don't understand how ? Well I do and many other people also do understand how.

If I turn on the shower I get wet. It's linear not circular.

It's not Dr Who where He goes forward in time to find out something, then back in time to record it so that he now knows it at the current time. If it can be different then God doesn't know it. If GOd knows it it can't be different.

Then don't just tell me you understand, explain it.
## Added in edit.
If God knows (as in has knowledge of, as in knowing to a depth and certainty greater than I know that I'm using a Dell laptop, an acer monitor and a Kensington keyboard) that I'm going to have pastizzi for dinner tonight then that's what I'm going to have. Yes my will's involved so yes I "could" have left-over fish but if God knows then that's what I'll do.
As the WCF (modern English) say: "Yet he ordered all things in such a way that he ... does he force his creatures to act against their wills".
Omniscience is defined as "the state of having total knowledge, the quality of knowing everything." For God to be sovereign over His creation of all things, whether visible or invisible, He has to be all-knowing.
God knows everything (1 John 3:20). He knows not only the minutest details of our lives but those of everything around us, for He mentions even knowing when a sparrow falls or when we lose a single hair (Matthew 10:29-30). Not only does God know everything that will occur until the end of history itself (Isaiah 46:9-10), but He also knows our very thoughts, even before we speak forth (Psalm 139:4). He knows our hearts from afar; He even saw us in the womb (Psalm 139:1-3, 15-16). Solomon expresses this truth perfectly when he says, "For you, you only, know the hearts of all the children of mankind" (1 Kings 8:39).
