He is laying the ground work for reversing the reformation when he says "divest ourselves of biblical interpretations that have come from historical conflicts in the church"
Did you actually read that quote in context? I did.

He is saying that we need to look at where the doctrinal train left the tracks historically and get back to letting the Word of God determine what is and what isn't doctrine.

I sincerely hope you will take a few minutes and watch the video that I just posted. It is making the same point very clearly.

Yes I read it... not matter how much lipstick one puts on a pig... it's still a pig! Have you heard the catholics pope reaching out to protestants claiming the reformation is over and we can all come in to unity now... under catholicism???

Catholics will never give up their idolatry or their extra biblical teachings, so being in unity with them is to be in agreement with them.

God does not accept idolatry or their extra biblical teachings so they are not Christians as the New Testament describes. Catholics will never accept God's written Word as truth... they have added many things to it that are not of God and they will never give that up. They do not follow biblical teaching, so no need to negotiate with them other than to tell them God's Word is true and their fables are not.

This is exactly what I'm talking about... people thinking catholics are Christians and being willing to join with them in agreement... along with their pope claiming muslims as well as other world religions are right with God and we all just need to come together in unity to worship God.

Sorry, but that's another jesus and Mr Clark et al should have enough biblical sense to know this... but obviously they do not. He and other popular teachers are leading people astray but tucking poison into their teachings.

As we get closer and closer to the catching of the Lord's faithful... this will become more and more evident.

There will be a real ecumenical movement and a false one bro. God wants His church to be of one accord.
There will also be the false one that you keep talking about, which concerns the catholic church.

If you haven't listened to the message I posted above, you will probably be blessed by it. However, he does not hold Luther's reformation or any since then in high esteem because each of them "reformed" back to the faulty foundation of the catholic church instead of the book of Acts and Epistles.

That is what the Last Reformation movement is all about. Getting back to sound doctrine.

From what I gleaned out of the article you posted is that Randy Clark also said we need to get back to the bible, and that we can look at the historical splits in the church to see where we went wrong, which should point us back to basing doctrine on the bible and not faulty man-made traditions and doctrines.

Pure doctrine will only be found in God's word, not in the writings of the catholic church or any of the reformers. They may have had some truths, but they also kept things that should have been thrown out.

It's very strange that all these guys keep going to and inviting catholics to conferences and share the stage with them... in agreement with those that teach false doctrine. Of course some of these guys are practicing new age as well and many don't recognize it because they throw in the Name of Jesus.

Something odd is going on and many people who really like and are devoted to certain preachers will follow them right in to deception.

This is already unfolding before our very eyes...

I have seen no mention of any catholic persons speaking at this conference. If there were, I wouldn't be attending.

Have you watched the video yet bro?

Years ago the Holy Spirit was drawing to a deeper walk. Just such fear as you are promoting here grabbed me...I was doubting HIS leading because it was off the mainstream I was familiar with and I even heard some preachers calling it heresy. The Lord reminded me of 2 essential truths.. 1.that the Holy Spirit is my teacher, that HE was given to lead and guide me into all truth and 2. That If I desire to KNOW HIM accurately He will not give me a 'stone'....this revelation encouraged me to follow HIM and not the organizational structure I was in.

Believers can be deceived but only if they are not in close relationship with Holy Spirit. Randy is speaking of following the Holy Spirit and scripture rather than doctrines of men. Even if those doctrines may not be wrong, they are very likely to be limited...

Listening to anointed teachers that are expounding the true Word of God IS sitting at the feet of Jesus, since we are HIS BODY doing HIS WORK.

That's false and it's exactly how deception is being poured into the church...

The true Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ, always... ALWAYS leds us to God's written Word because God produced the written Word thru the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ.

Jesus said the Holy Spirit would lead us into all truth and Jesus said God's Word is truth.

Much of what is being taught now does not agree with God's Word, including being joined together with those that do not adhere to sound doctrine (God's written Word)... those that are doing this are wide open to deception because satan too has a "holy spirit" but it's actually an angel of light... it's demons using God's Word but tucking in false teachings just like the devil did when tempting Jesus.

Now more than ever... no matter how slick, cool, and successful a preacher sounds or appears to be - teaching MUST be judged by God's written Word cause deception is afoot and God warns us in His Word concerning many being deceived in the end times.

You can call it fear if you want... which is actually a devil saying "naw man, it's all good!"... ignoring God's warnings is in error.

God's warnings are not fear, but His wisdom.
