He is laying the ground work for reversing the reformation when he says "divest ourselves of biblical interpretations that have come from historical conflicts in the church"... the reformation was a move of God to bring people back to what He says in scripture instead of the catholic church telling people what they think it says as they add to and take away from God's Word.

This is why Christians are "Protestants" because we are in protest against the catholic church due to their false teachings that are taking people to hell due to not truly teachings God's Word.

BEWARE... almost all of the popular preachers out there are moving towards rome and doing away with being in protest to the false teachings of the catholic church.

This will be the one world religion the Bible warns us about when all the world's religions all come together in unity which is where the ecumenical movement leads.

satan has done a very good job with this deception and it is captivating many, many Christians right now... because after all, who would not be for coming together in unity???

This is why the Lord Jesus is leading people back to the foundational teachings of His written Word... which excludes catholic teachings which are extra biblical and of satan.

The deception train is picking up stead and it's conductor... satan... is calling ALL ABOARD!

So you're saying you don't go to church to hear a good sermon? You don't read or listen to any, I mean ANY online teaching?

You don't take into consideration the things other people glean and discern from the word?

Then why are there Bible Colleges and Seminaries. Why are there Bible Studies and Conferences?

People are hungry to learn.

If I can learn something from someone who has listened to the Lord for a long time and teaches in depth, why wouldn't I be eager to sit in his "classroom" whether it's a church, bible study or conference... or even online.

Yes, I've listened to various preachers over the years... but now, the majority of popular preachers have been compromised by satan to either teach false grace, and or to be pushing the ecumenical movement where their version of unity includes the false teachings of catholicism as well as new age influences and practices.

Jesus said there would be many coming in His Name that would be false teachers and would deceive many.

If one was smart they would take inventory of their beliefs and go back to the foundational teachings of Jesus Christ and let the Holy Spirit teach and led them to compare what they think truth is to what scripture actually teaches.

Time is short and deception is afoot, to the point that those that have been solid Word people are being sucked in to popular end times teachings that are taught by another jesus.

This is what a growing number of preachers are doing... becoming in agreement with catholicism which means they will have to deny God's Word to do so in favor of "unity", but it's not the unity taught in the New Testament.

Based on your previous remark, one would assume that maybe you are in favor and a part of this ecumenical movement that actually includes all of the world's religions not just catholics and their particular false teachings that land people in hell.

So, what is your stance on the ecumenical movement which claims the reformation is over and Protestants should come in to agreement with catholics (we would have to deny the truth of scripture to do so)???

Actually, the reformation has a faulty foundation. I desire to go beyond the protestant reformation.
