in class we saw a video of one of his meetings where he laid hands on a little girl that had one leg shorter than the other...We watched the leg literally grow to be even with the other leg!

That was awesome, but I felt more of a connection with the first video with Allen. But it could be me feeling a certain kind of way.

She's still alive. I think she's getting close to 90 but you would never know it.
She had a church up on high st & McAuthur .. She built a big church, several blocks, but the son took over and there's not much going on now.

As was common amongst early Pentecostals, he taught divine healing, no doctors or medicine allowed.
Instead of doctors and medicine to deal with his own pain, he turned to alcohol to numb the pain, trying to be faithful to his teachings of not going to doctors

There was always reports of the alcohol abuse.

I heard Bobby Conner teaching from Morning Star on God TV one time during their 'Honoring the Fathers' conference talking about mentioning AA Allen in a sermon someplace and basically relaying what he read from God's Generals about Allen dying drunk, etc. I don't remember the exact details, but basically he said Jesus appeared to him and said that he had lied about His servant and that Allen had died righteous before Him and that he needed to go back to that congregation and correct himself. He said Jesus also told him "he was murdered by the Christian mafia", but not sure what that means exactly.

Here is a video where he talks about it, just a couple of minutes long. This isn't the one I originally saw though, but it has more detail.

She was at an Azusa meeting, don't remember when it was. I had not heard of her at that time, and certainly didn't know about her relation with Tremaine.

Do you think it is possible that he is so desperate to have Christians believe what is saying that he is lying about Jesus appearing to him to tell him that ?
