Ok, here's what on my heart right now (being really transparent)...

I am so sick and tired of "churchianity", with no power/anointing...but if I wasn't caught up in my own flesh (being "religious" but deceived into thinking I was a part of some 'cutting edge' church/ministry) back when the Brownsville revival was happening, I would have been right there in the midst of it. I'm almost in tears as I write this. Lord, help us to never forget...I want this kind of fire in my life and church.

    So powerful. So amazing...

Back then, I just didn't have the money to travel. We had to rely on whatever videos were being released to get in on that anointing. Our pastor at the time went and came back offended somehow, and so of course couldn't release any anointing... it was sad, really.

    Thanks for the video, FO.

Most awesome thing I've ever experienced with other believers (and non-believers too). I was in it from Jan. '98 to Dec. 2000. And I had visited several times before I moved down to go to BRSM. It really is hard to describe. Words don't do it justice. It had to be experienced.

Thanks for the video FO. I wish you could have gone too.

Yeah, it's amazing that people would get offended. Normally it was the ones that didn't go and somehow were offended by the excitement of those that did go. It's even more amazing he actually went and got offended.

I started with videos too and for lack of better way to put it, the anointed jumped right out of those videos (just like they did with RHB's videos). Some people from our church went first, and started going regularly, and revival broke out in our church for 2 months. The most amazing thing I've ever seen other than Brownsville itself. The associate pastor was really on board but sadly the pastor was somewhat, but never really committed. So after a couple of months it was kinda shut down. He had to take back control again.

It actually made me cry FO from the memory of it watching that video.

That one guy being baptized that talked about hating his mother, etc, they actually left out one thing he said. He also said "I had the perfect plan to murder my parents..." But of course he got saved before he did it. The first time I went was on a Friday when they had baptisms, and I thought, "Oh no, a baptismal service. How boring." Boy was I wrong. Because everyone gave a testimony it was awesome. The baptisms became a favorite of almost everybody.

Something I need to watch from time to time to keep the memory alive and inspire myself to greater depths in God.
