    on a serious note...

Just a observation as I was listening to the Holy Spirit. The church as we know it is beginning a change like we have never seen before. The old wine skin has severe leakages in it. The ideas of sunday school, the sunday service, denominations, the pastor as the final authority of the church and so much more are leaking from the old wine skin. Jesus has formed a new wineskin that will be the church as we have never seen it before. Here are some of the traits I see coming if not already starting to give birth.
-I see a radical, militant church with little regard for its own safety but is willing to be martyred in order for the gospel of Jesus Christ to be spread throughout the world.
-I see a church without walls unable to contain itself in a building because of its zeal in the Holy Spirit and the world system, (s)atan, and even churches of the old wineskin will try and stop it. The power of the Holy Spirit will be to strong for these entities and through the church defeat them.
-I see a church with a plurality of eldership and deacons functioning according to the church in Acts. There will be no singular ruler i.e. pastor but the eldship will be in one agreement, one accord, and one passion for the things of Jesus Christ.
-I see the equipping ministries which includes the apostle, the prophet, the evangelist, the pastor, and the teacher equipping the saints for the work of the ministry. They will be servant leaders not ruling over the flock with a iron hand but with love and gentleness treating the bride of Jesus Christ with honor.
-I see a radical people, holy ones if you will moving in local communities in all areas of ministry including the gifts of the Holy Spirit including kingdom healing even with restorations of arms, legs, internal organs and so much more.
-I see church launching teams spreading out through America planting new churches where darkness is. Many of these teams will be young people even kids moving and advancing the kingdom of God shaking and destroying the works of (s)atan and his kingdom.
-I see seasoned saints and senior saints moving as one in spiritual warfare becoming prayer warriors in the kingdom of God. They will literally move according to the will of the Father, in the name of Jesus, and in the power of the Holy Spirit piercing the (s)atanic darkness with the bright and holy light of Jesus pushing back and defeating (s)atans schemes. The world system will tremble in fear as they experience the unified prayers of these prayer warriors. And if I may be so bold to prophesy here that the word of these warriors will cause governments to topple at the sound of Jesus' name.
There's more but guys the future may be uncertain to many of you but I know the Father has everything in His hands. I am soooo looking forward to the coming days as we morph into what Jesus has called us to be.....
    Think about it....

You forgot about one thing. The glory will manifest on the saints and be in accord with their deeds until Jesus is as good as visually manifested through the totality of his servants. That takes deep character and sanctification, and consistency in one's walk.

Right. I love the new, softer version of you with pigtails instead of horns, by the way.

Not to worry, Nikos. It just means "I love you brother - I love you too"

Praise God! bring it on Holy Spirit! Holy Spirit come! This reminds me of a song years ago by Rich Mullins
"And I see a people, who have learned to walk in faith, mercy in their hearts, Glory on their faces......."
When we stand before Jesus, he is not going to ask what everyone else told you to do....
He is going to ask "what did I tell you to do?" Press on!

I have a friend that told me of a movie he saw a long time ago where this cop got a bad report from the Dr. that he was dying. He had insurance, but if he died an accidental death it would pay double, giving his wife and kids more money. So since he was going to die anyway, he went about trying to get himself killed in the line of duty. So he became totally reckless and crazy when dealing with criminals, but what happened is instead of dying, because he lost all fear of death in trying to get killed, he became a super cop, doing all these extraordinary things because he had no fear.

Anyway, I think that's a good analogy for what you are saying in that comment. Lose the fear of death, die to your own desires, your own embarrasment, die to everything that would hinder you from just going for it and do extraordinary things for God because you have no fear of anything. We are dead in Christ. You can't kill somebody that's already dead. And if you're already dead, why fear?

Oh, and by the way, come to find out the Dr. was wrong. He wasn't really dying. :)
