Who, out there, is seeing healings?

What ministries, that you know of, are seeing successful healing ministry taking place on a consistent basis?
(Part of my series of questions/polls.)

Kevin Riordan Street Fishers Ministries. He is a local guy who has seen phenomenal results praying for people in the highways and byways. https://streetfisherministries.com/

That is a good question. I have been in the ministry 58 years and I do not see the healings that we use to see. I mean we use to see them in the local church on a regular basis. You didn't have to go 500 miles to some entertainer type preacher. God would move on a week night service. Evangelists that were ministering at smaller churches, were everywhere.

We see healings quite regularly. Not as many as I would like. I am desiring to touch many more with the love of God. I am going out onto the streets soon for a kickstarting from one of the Pioneer School graduates who lives in our area. This method of discipleship seems to be effective. I am edified and encouraged by watching videos of Torben Sondergaard, Tom Loud, Pete Cabrera Jr., Todd White. These men stir me up to want to do more for the kingdom. We must get about the Father's business.

Last Wednesday I received a call from one of our church members that his mother was on life support and in critical condition. Met the husband and wife at the hospital. The nurses was giving them no hope of recovery and basically gave a death sentence. I told the young man and his wife that while we respect the doctors and nurses they are to put their complete truth in Jesus. I was allowed to go into the ICU with the family but we were not to talk to or touch her. I told them that I don't have to lay hands on the mother directly. I will put my hands on the bed and God will manifest His healing power on the bed and touch her Himself.

I laid hands on the bed and prayed. We saw no change that night but I continue to remind the family to trust God. The next day she was moved from critical to stable condition. The day after they were able to remove her from life support and let her breathe on her own. Yesterday I received a report that she was walking around and was laughing. Yes, God is THAT good.

On a less dramatic note, last week my wife swallowed a potato chip with ridges that scratched her throat and made it difficult for her to swallow anything else. She asked God to heal and not too long afterwards she was fine.

So yes, we are seeing healings. Like Zeke, they are not s often as I would like, but I believe that this comes with more teaching on the subject of faith and healing, something I intend to do.

Laying hands on the bed, smart move. One normally lays hands on someones clothes anyway so what is the difference ? Recall that people were healed by way of handkerchiefs that had touched the apostles and when their shadow passed them. Some kind of connection is necessary but if the power to work miracles is involved then physical contact may not be necessary. I've seen both, healing by a power transfer by the onlaying of hands and also at some distance because the power was transferred non-physically. I'm not sure if it was transferred through the air which is a physical medium or through the spiritual realm but it was more than just the anointing touching someone, it was a manifestation of the gift I talked about. Some level of contact or expectation towards God is required.

Don't forget also about the woman with the issue of blood only touching the hem of our Lord's garment before she became whole.

The power to work miracles has other uses than healing, where I suppose the onlaying of hands is more common. I've seen it move to reach believers who needed to repent from various things, imposing strong conviction where it would be difficult to minister by a long message, even by way of a word of knowledge. One woman was so shocked by that recently that I had to tell her husband to tell her that I am only a servant.

So yesterday afternoon I had to stop at our church building on the way home to sit while my associate pastor was counseling a young man. After that session was over, he was waiting for his next appointment. He told me that she was suffering from some major back issues and in a lot of pain. When she walked in I told her that I had just been told that she is in pain, which she confirmed. I questioned her and she told me it was about a 6 on a scale of 1-10. I told her to come put her stuff on the table and I would show her something really cool. She looked at me cautiously and said "You ain't gonna hurt me, are you?" I told her no, I was just going to pray for her and God was going to heal her.

I had her put her hands where the pain was, and she put both hands back on two different spots. She had also told me that her back was a wreck from an accident or something like that. I prayed for her and it went down to about a 4. I reminded her that Jesus prayed for some people more than once and I was going to pray again. A couple more times and the pain was gone. I then had her sit down because one of the locations was her lower back. I held her feet up and one was about a half inch shorter than the other. I asked if she knew that she had one leg shorter than the other and she said yes, my left one. I told my associate to watch, and then commanded the leg to come out even in Jesus' name. It came right out.

To me, this is discipleship because next time I will have him do it.
I did the same with him when a couple came up for the Holy Spirit baptism a while back. I prayed for one of them and they received, and then I turned to him and said "Your turn!" He laid hands on the second and they both received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence. It was his first time.
We need to have others minister alongside of us, and then have them apply what they have observed. I have witnessed great results by doing this.

I have also done the same thing with water baptisms. I want to raise up an army of disciples who are able to raise up more disciples and we can expand the kingdom of Heaven one person at a time.

Zeke, I used to be close friends with a guy who (by God's power and grace) did a lot of leg lengthening.
