Who, out there, is seeing healings?

Our old pastor did that a lot back around 1990. They dont any longer. Im sure that it happens and especially when the person already knows that they have that specific problem but there was a lot of inflation involved with ascribing short legs as the source of every back problem and then some people probably subconsciously extended their hips so that the foot moved along with the pastors hand as he prayed. After a while there was less of that.

Zeke, I used to be close friends with a guy who (by God's power and grace) did a lot of leg lengthening.

I used to be real sceptical about this as I watched some evangelists (some who turned out to be sort of shady if I remember correctly). But then one day a couple brought their daughter up for prayer at the end of service and so I did what I have seen others do in many youtube videos now days, and her leg grew out. I am no longer quite so sceptical about such things, I just lay hands and speak in faith, letting God do what He desires, which is to destroy the works of the devil.

I'd inquire weeks to months later in order to be certain that it was genuine as in produced a lasting result.

About 3 years ago, one of our members was on her "death bed" and they called "Code Blue" on her 4 times!!!

While she was lying there with tubes hooked to every part of her body, Pastor/Hubby and I went and laid hands on her, and within a few days, God raised her from her bed of affliction.

Her vanity plate reads: "Lazarus"

Last week, another member called for prayer because her mammogram showed some "masses" and she went in for "more tests."

After the second round of tests, the Radiologist returned to say:"Mrs. T, we can no longer detect anything - the masses have disappeared!!!"

Soooo, YES - we see healing, because we believe God for them.

There are many ministers when they preach on giving can miraculously make their nose longer

I have no confidence in preachers who say they are seeing miracles and yet they have a stinking, rotten, disgusting attitude. They get hateful at times about certain issues. We are to be careful who we allow to anoint us and lay hands on for healing. Some preachers love to supposedly discern all the things that is wrong with you yet they are full of spiritual pride and haughtiness. I would warn people to be careful. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit by allowing one of these "characters" to pray for you. It will have a negative affect on your faith.

Good gracious Nikos! I don't think there was anyone here who fits your description. We all love Jesus and each other, and yes, even the lost. I have not seen any of these with bad attitudes or hateful. I sure hope you aren't hammering on any of the saints of God. That would be totally un-Christlike. The bible says that folks will know we belong to Jesus by our love for one another. Sorry you are having a bad day.

Where did I say that I was talking about someone here. Are You kidding? That is ridiculous! In fact it is stupid! Need I be clearer?

You seem to get your "kicks" from scolding others like they are some little child. I am getting tired with this. For your information, I have my opinions about things. I will continue to give them without asking your input first. Thank you!

Now, just so we get this clear. I do strongly believe exactly what I said. When someone lays hands on me it is a serious thing. I have never allowed some low life to pray for me via laying on of hands. He may try but he will not get it done. Some of these preachers use intimidation in order to accomplish their ministry. Many people are afraid to speak up and will go along with the preacher right or wrong. Strong authoritarian speaking and the use of the crowd to intimidate - i.e. everyone is looking at me so I will go along with the scam. All I can say is don't try it with me. I will turn and walk away and he will be embarrassed not me. I warn people about this because some don't seem to be able to discern one of these characters until they actually get up there and the preacher starts ordering a person around. I say get out of there if God tells you he is not legit.

Laid hands on someone the other day and commanded her spine to align. She texted me the next morning that she was healed. Happens often, for both Ken and I. We simply believe, and so do.
