Somewhere In The Future - Visions !

I want to know has anyone here had a vision of the future and then stepped into to it ? I have had a few over the years that blew me away. Here is one. I was sitting in my chair praying and I saw two balls rolling from left to right by me. The first one was a tennis ball and the second was a softball. The next day I was sitting in the same chair after church . I had an impression to get up and go the park up the hill from me for a walk. As I entered the park and walked about 50 yards I saw right in front of me two balls rolling from left to right. I stopped when I saw them for they were exactly what I had seen in the vision 24 hours before. One was a tennis ball and the other one was a softball. The story has a cute part. We know from scripture that we "see in part" and this became real to me this day also. Right behind the moving balls was a two year old giggling blonde child chasing them. I did not see this child in my vision, nevertheless he was part of the scene.

What was the point to this ? Was it just to introduce you to the concept ?

Foreknowledge, including of how the future would be affected by your seeing that in advance. Not so specific that you would be able to force it not to happen.

Hab 2:3 The vision will still happen at the appointed time. It hurries toward its goal. It won't be a lie.

Acts 9:10 Now there was a believers in Damascus named Ananias. The Lord spoke to him in a vision, calling, “Ananias!”

    “Yes, Lord!” he replied.

11The Lord said, “Go over to Straight Street, to the house of Judas. When you get there, ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul. He is praying to me right now. 12I have shown him a vision of a man named Ananias coming in and laying hands on him so he can see again.”

If God tells someone they will be present in New York on April 25, 2016 then all they need to do to force this not to happen, is to travel to Asia a week before that and stay put.

Should we take that as meaning that Ananias now had no free will in relation to this matter, that he was physically incapable of disobeying ?

Anyone can disobey. Even if it is the audible voice of the Lord.

I suppose God would have had to tell Paul that Ananias disobeyed then. But I have the feeling that he trusted Ananias to obey based on relation. Not everything is according to 'hard' foreknowledge.
