    Praise God!!

Members of The House of Hope in Decatur, GA are buzzing about a modern day miracle that took place in the middle of service.

In the midst of Dr. E. Dewey Smith, Jr. ministering the sermon a man's heart stop beating. It caused alarm in the area where the gentleman was sitting and Dr. Dewey noticed it from the pulpit.

Joy105.com reports that Smith began to commission the church to pray for the medical emergency. The man's heart stop beating for over 10 minutes and he was classified as dead upon 911 arriving. The church began to pray and Dr. E. Dewey Smith was determined to not let the man die in God's house. Dr. Dewey began to pray, and the Saints began to pray...

As you will see in the video below, Dr. Dewey spotted them bringing in an IV which he declared meant, "I am Victorious". This young man was not a member of House of Hope, but decided to visit with his family this past Sunday.

After about 10 minutes or so, the church nurse can be seen giving a praise report on the man's status to Pastor Smith.

It's a modern day miracle to see that God is still resurrecting!

Dr. Dewey began to declare to the people of God that everything that is in your life that seems dead, God is about to give it life again!!!! This man is still alive today!

I am in no way knowledgable about medical procedures but I dont understand how that is different to when people whose hearts stopped are later revived again by medical personell.

There's your logical mind trying to explain the supernatural

No it's not. I want to know why that should be viewed as supernatural rather than natural. How would I know it is ?

I know that when someone's tumors shrivel up and die inside them and all the doc operating has to do, is to remove them, then that is supernatural because it CANNOT be natural.

How do I know that the man's revival wasnt natural and entirely a product of the medical procedure ?

The same goes for a lot of stuff that people claim was supernatural healings, some of it is just the bodys natural healing processes and the same would have happened if they had been atheists. Not that I'm going to argue about that because some times God had a part in it. But when people claim resurrections then they had better have a good reason why it was definitely not natural. "It makes us feel good to believe so" is NOT good enough.

    Here's an old classic.

"I fought the flu devil for three weeks in my bed and then it had to leave in Jesus name and I was miraculously healed, praise God"

nope, that is not what happened

as a medic i can tell u not every MI turns out like this..... the power of prayer does things ya'll.... the young man was given a 2nd chance by the grace of God..... i once had a man who was a crack addict fall dead and fell into his waffles at the waffle house. we got him back twice. we were there at the right time and the right place. it was Gods timing the paramedics were right here in this church when it happened and dont ever think Jesus did not bring him back because of the prayer of the saints. think about this usually there is a 12 minute window from the time the heart stops until the percentages of getting the heart 2 start again lowers drastically. after 15 minutes the chances decrease even more. for the medical team 2 b right there n five minutes or less pumping the heart and defibing is a God sent... everybody should have CPR training...
