I dont think these doors or portals are tied to specific locations rather they represent God doing or having done something towards those locations or the devil having gained a foothold in that location. A former revival may continue to affect the spiritual climate for a while but this isnt intrinsic to the physical location itself.

When I looked at angels enveloped in heavenly glory recently, I was in a hotel room in Morocco, one of the countries on Earth that is the most devoid of Christians. There certainly was no door or portal there for that but then my personal relation to God isnt a product of my location. Revival taking hold of people in that area, now that would be a bit different.

Here's a thought. How about making your own home a "portal" to heaven? Make your home a worship place and watch what happens. ;)

I agree..I view it as a binding of strongholds that gives God room to move more freely in a situation. Symbolically that could be viewed as an opening of a door or a gate or just an area where the enemy is driven back...most likely by prayers of faith...

The ultimate for believers is to operate in an open heaven environment over their lives but there are still other doorways (portals) where angels and fallen angels go from heaven to earth and there are specific locations where this can occur

    There is truth in both

I'd like to see some scripture on the last half of that sentence.

I dont reject it but I think he is making much out of those verses. The verse from revelation relates a very literal door and John was told to go through it into heaven, but that was personal and had little to do with location. The other verses relate locations but it is difficult to tell exactly what it means, it could for instance have more to do with God creating favorable circumstances so that Paul could preach the gospel without being hindered physically or that he would find favor with the right people, it could mean a lot of things. He quotes this verse :

1:12*Furthermore, when I came to Troas to*preach*Christ’s gospel, and a door was opened to me by the Lord,*13*I had no rest in my spirit, because I did not find Titus my brother; but taking my leave of them, I departed for Macedonia.

Which is from 2 cor and not from 1 cor. He only quotes verse 12 but if this is about "portals over Troas" then the next verse makes little sense as the next thing he does is to depart from Troas.

There is an other verse where he talks about favorable conditions :

Acts 18:9 One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision:*“Do not be afraid;*keep on speaking, do not be silent.*10*For I am with you,*and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.”*11*So Paul stayed in Corinth for a year and a half, teaching them the word of God.

But there is no mention of a door or portal, just the fact that many angels are already in the city, creating a favorable climate.
