I believe that revivals will happen in certain places and mighty things will occur but I don't think nations will turn to God. The closer we get to the end imo revivals will come in the midst of
evil governments. Glad to be wrong if nations turn to God but I don't see it in the end times scenario.

Isn't nations coming into the kingdom a part of prophecy?

I know all us pentecostals believed in a sweeping last days revival but the nearer we draw to that time the more I see it differently than in decades past. When the vile wicked reprobates have been turned over by God, and as we draw near to "as it was in the days of Lot", the more I see the power of God manifesting in individuals (the revealing of the sons of God) moreso than a sweeping revival. I pray for such and long for such but I'm a little further along than 1996.

Greek word for nations is ethnos meaning ethnic groups. God will move on all ethnic groups and there will be many saved but also others will harden their hearts and embrace more evil.

If there IS no revival, it's not God's fault. Great prayer precedes revival. No great prayer, no revival.

That was the main theme in Leonard Ravenhill's "Why Revival Tarries". If you have tasted of God's glory and power during revival, you will never forget it and will always have Heaven nearer to you.
