I posted a vid from Hornady on Facebook back in Dec from Hornady. Point by point the same. The stats for new shooter needs is horrendous from a factory perspective. Then, add the folks buying a new gun that also needs a hoarde of ammo to have enough for WW9mm.

Ammo companies didn't create the shortage. We did.

Over two bucks a round,,,, WOW,,, Shot Gun Slugs shells ain't cheap either if you ask me. I quit hunting about 10 years ago can't take the cold anymore. But this fall I bought a couple boxes, (20 Gauge) Remington I think were like $16 for 5 shells, so I got Federals for half that. When all the goofy talk was going on I realized I only had one shell in the house. Home defense is all I'm about these days.

Watched a recent video today that said there have been 2 calibers of ammo steadily on the shelves through all of this. 12 Gauge ammo and 10MM ammo.

I don't have anything that shoots 10mm, but I do have a double barrel 12. Even if you can only get your hands on bird shot, cut shells are quite lethal and would work for home defense. They make quite a hole though the target.
