We Decide When the Pandemic is Over - Not Them
In spite of non-stop screeching media and political bobble heads posing as dictators, America is moving on.
About 1 million Americans a day packed airports and planes over the weekend even as coronavirus deaths surged across the U.S. and public health experts begged people to stay home and avoid big Thanksgiving gatherings.
And the crowds are only expected to grow. Next Sunday is likely to be the busiest day of the holiday period.
To be sure, the number of people flying for Thanksgiving is down by more than half from last year because of the rapidly worsening outbreak. However, the 3 million who went through U.S. airport checkpoints from Friday through Sunday marked the
biggest crowds since mid-March, when the COVID-19 crisis took hold in the United States.
Many travelers are unwilling to miss out on seeing family and are convinced they can do it safely. Also, many colleges have ended their in-person classes, propelling students to return home.
Laurie Pearcy, director of administration for a Minneapolis law firm, is flying to New Orleans to attend her daughter's bridal shower and have a small Thanksgiving dinner with her son.
Millions stick to Thanksgiving travel plans despite warnings
Pandemic over, Americans have decided.

The US daily death rate is approaching April levels again :
United States Coronavirus: 12,780,938 Cases and 263,799 Deaths - Worldometer
Judging by the daily new cases chart, it's likely to exceed April levels before Christmas because deaths typically follow several weeks after the cases are recorded.
So the best way of describing the Pandemic in the USA as well as in Europe seems to be "Here we go again".

Death numbers? Can we really trust a hospital post mortem on what really kills a person when hospitals get big money funding on each reported covid death?

Is that the case since March or did that start recently ?

"Hospital administrators might well want to see COVID-19 attached to a discharge summary or a death certificate. Why? Because if it's a straightforward, garden-variety pneumonia that a person is admitted to the hospital for – if they're Medicare – typically, the diagnosis-related group
lump sum payment would be $5,000. But if it's COVID-19 pneumonia, then it's $13,000, and if that COVID-19 pneumonia patient ends up on a ventilator, it goes up to $39,000."
Fact check: Medicare pays hospitals more money for COVID-19 patients

Pretty much since the start of it.

It has gotten so bad that if a person diagnosed with COVID dies in a car accident, they will chalk it up to the China Virus.

In that case the trend where the US/Europe is heading for an April death rate or higher still holds, whatever the "real" death numbers would be.

I'm not so sure that the way that they calculate the death numbers for the flu are much different.

That's right brother. Follow the science and embrace the shutdown mandates. Be a good and model citizen.
Me? No worries mate. I am a covid survivor.
