Do you think this will help or hinder the NFL

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Monday that he hopes former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick will help "guide" the league on issues pertaining to social justice.
The commissioner also said during the interview with ESPN's Mike Greenberg that he would "support" and "encourage" a team signing the controversial signal caller to its roster.

The culture is obtusely patronizing the BM (oopsie) BLM movement. It's a total facade. Yes, rather offensive but that's what they have to do.

Seriously. And that's all it is. Basically hypocrites. Pete Carroll saying now he wished he would have signed Kaepernick. Talk about revisionist history as kind of a sideways apology and to try and earn brownie points under the current climate.

I'm glad I don't watch football anymore. I can't believe that they are caving in to these "social justice" clowns.

After the way Kaepernick disrespected our flag I wouldn't allow him to clean the stadium toilets.

I've never actually been to a game but if I were to go I would certainly stand at attention during the anthem. if someone wanted to express some opinion by kneeling or sitting or waiving a Maga hat or an anti-Maga hat, it wouldn't bother me as long as they do it quietly.

In other words, live and let live.

Im not a sports follower so it doesn't effect me but have asked several people I know who watch or attend. One guy I know spent $4000 for tickets for himself & his dad to attend the playoffs back in January for the 49ers game. They said if they start this kneeling again they are done. Many stopped watching long ago and I noticed last seasons the stadiums were half empty.

If they want to kneel, I say let them do it. Do not stop them. It's there right, but I think it's going to put the final nail in the coffin. A lot of people view the flag as an emblem of those who died so it's sentimental.

When I see "Old Glory" waving, and hear the National Anthem, I feel a sense of pride, awe, and thanksgiving that I'm blessed to live in the best country in the world...

I think it's disrespectful and unpatriotic to kneel during any ceremonial acknowledgement of our nation and its citizens.

Even with all of its faults, I agree with the author Ken Hamblin, when he wrote the book, Pick a Better Country

Edited to Add: And YES, this is a "free" country where differences, and protests are allowed to be publicly displayed - Let the dissidents try that in China, Russia or Iran - They'd be shot or imprisoned in a New York Minute - YES, another reason to love this country and honor the flag.
