Thread: U.S. Is No Longer Among the 10 Most Prosperous Countries; Norway, Canada, Australia lead

Those numbers don't address the many millions who are underemployed, working part-time. Bottom line is, we ain't Europe. We could never sustain the socialist utopia and I am always flabbergasted as to why the Marxists/socialists swear it would work here when our demographics are completely different.

Well, we are well on our way towards it.

If they bring all the world's population down on the same level, except of course for the super rich, then they will force the world in to a one world government.

Think the US won't go for this? Think again. The template has been exposed... just get millions of people rioting in Washington DC and other major cities, demanding this nation go under UN rule and guess what will happen?

We go under UN rule and our Constitution is thrown in the trash... it's pretty much there right now.

The time is now to get right with the Lord and tells others to do the same.

Those that reject Jesus and want to argue this world's wisdom... walk right past them and find someone who is hurting and is seeking something more than what this dark world has to offer which is nothing more than... a one way ticket to hell.

There are lots of people throughout Europe who are underemployed and work part time. In general, people work short hours and retire early. The latter will backfire eventually as people live longer and longer and therefore work for shorter and shorter fractions of their lives.

Don't think you understand what I'm saying. People want to work long hours and/or full time and most people want to work beyond age 65, but the economy and government regulations have put that out of reach. The mindset is very different here, except for the brainwashed marxists that our colleges are turning out.

My point is that the numbers may not be that different, even taking into account underemployment. Europeans want to and Americans are forced to, maybe. I'm not so sure the Europeans want to work part time but many retire early voluntarily, which is costly to society.

That's not true... if one is of value, they can get work.

Better yet, they can start and run their own business!

Not true, but whatever. Not everyone is an entrepreneur or are wired that way.

No, the numbers are VERY different. We have a nation that is 330,000,000 people. Out of those working full time, probably only half pay any federal income taxes. And the underemployed pretty much the same. We have many trillions of debt....we are past the point of no return.

As a citizen of the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ... the government is not dictating to me whether I work long hours or past 65.

This world is not my home, I'm just passing thru so I live under the Kingdom of God, not what the government decides to let me have.

I'm talking about our entire country, not just Christians.
