Bishop 'outraged' after President Trump poses with Bible in front of St. John's Church
Budde, the Episcopal bishop of Washington D.C., spoke with CNN shortly after the photo-op, saying, "Let me be clear, the president just used a Bible, the most sacred text of the Judeo-Christian tradition, and one of the churches of my diocese, without permission, as a backdrop for a message antithetical to the teachings of Jesus."

Strange how President Trump holding a Bible outrages the media more than rioters burning down churches.

Well, if he's going to hold the book up, it would help if he occasionally demonstrated some knowledge of, and respect for, its teachings.

Can you give some examples of what you're referring to?

We have had photos almost forever of presidents coming and going at church on Sunday.

I can remember how Bill Clinton always carried his Bible to church when he was president.

I haven't seen Trump attending a service. Has he?

You mean the LIBERAL interpretation of the Bible?
We know that Liberals have removed the passages about God's hatred for shedding innocent blood and His description of homosexual behavior as abominable from their Bibles. Since President Trump has been strongly pro-life, Liberals can no longer see that as important so .... your statement above.
Which is why I say "ditto" to you my "Never-Trumper" friend.
