Nothing to do with training! Police brutality is not "trained" which is what this is!

Police are NOT trained to brutalize citizens or suspects in their custody! There are bad apples in every profession (doctors, lawyers, preachers, etc.), because people are FLAWED! Period.

Newly released details also note that when medics arrived on the scene, Floyd had no pulse — and that the officer involved in the incident reportedly did not release his knee from Floyd's neck until medics arrived.

My father once received some counterfeit bills from the bank when he cashed his paycheck. That incident confirmed what's been suspected of for a long time, there are a LOT of fake bills out there. And since you can receive them from the bank, it's no telling how many are actually in circulation.

What happened to that man was completely inexcusable. Sad how some people even tried to defend the policeman that did this.

I just learned that the officer and Floyd worked as security guards at the same nightclub at the same time, so it's possible they knew one another. Still, from what I saw in the video, this was out right murder. Nothing to do with race. Police brutality pure and simple.

I'm not defending them in the slightest. But there were four officers on the scene, three on top of the victim, and one standing above him, and not one seemed to have any problem with what was happening. That suggests to me something seriously wrong with the training or with the organizational culture.

Any one of us could pass a counterfeit bill without even knowing it. Doesn't make us a criminal. Murdering a possible totally innocent man for a crime that he may not have even been aware of is a horrendous crime. And they wonder why police are getting a bad rap.
They need to make an example out of this whole gaggle of brutes.
The ones who didn't stop him are just as guilty as he is.

Not the training. There is something wrong with the culture within that department is what I would say.
