Stop throwing your gloves on the ground in store parking lots

Believe it or not .... probably not that hard to believe, really ..... this is becoming a real problem and a health risk for the store employees who have to clean them up. Gloves AND masks.

This is just a short commentary, but I've seen it on our national news channels.

(My computer is not allowing me to paste, or I'd paste the article. Don't know know why it's being stupid tonight.)

I have seen several pairs on our neighborhood walks. I need to glove up and pick them up. I don't know what people are thinking. I just turn mine inside out when I get out of the grocery store and stuff them in the garbage I have in the car.

There are 3 types of shoppers I've seen out there:
    1. Absolutely afraid. Gloved and masked up. Watching social distance all the time, and won't even make eye contact.
    2. Fearless. No gloves, no mask, touching everything, not aware of social distance, think they are invincible. And using chatting on their phone as they walk through the store.
    3. Logical, not paranoid. May or may not be gloved or masked, but maintains social distance, doesn't touch all the things. They aren't touching their phone or their face.

I wish I were surprised but I'm not.

Some stores are placing extra waste buckets in the parking lots
with signs urging people not to throw their gloves on the ground.

You would think that people wouldn't have to be reminded of such
a simple thing but I guess they do.
