On February 1st Florence, Italy Celebrated "Hug a Chinese" Day

Can't remember if somebody originally posted this when it happened. This is what being 'woke' will get you.
    _______________

Here's a story that will make your head spin.

Earlier this year thousands of Chinese immigrants from the city of Wuhan traveled to North Italy for work.

After the new residents got settled some of the local lawmakers noticed the Chinese immigrants weren't being totally accepted by native Italians.

That's when the mayor of Florence decided we should have "Hug a Chinese" Day.

The death toll in North Italy has now surpassed the death toll in Wuhan.

    yes, covered here.

    Caronavirus Prophecy

It's worth repeating though. Wokeness can make you sick.

Northern Italy is basically a Chinese outpost, they had non-stop flights in and out of Wuhan. That's why their numbers are so high.

Spain isn't far behind while Germany has very few deaths. Any ideas ?

The total number of Chinese workers in each of the three countries is similar, about 2-300,000. Maybe where they originate in China matters more. The situation in Iran was affected by their connections to China. There are lots of Chinese workers in various African countries but I suppose they don't make the money required to visit China very often.

Which was on January 25th when things had got going in Wuhan. I suppose that that mattered a lot in Italy and Iran.

I don't think that that many Africans take malaria pills a lot of the time. Maybe the Chinese workers there do. Not sure if that would contain the spread of the virus though.

Anyone traveling to low Chinese flu incidence regions takes anti-malarials. The locals take them all the time for fevers.

It's possible that chloroquine use would lower death numbers in the regions and would mask the true number of infections. If Africans do as you claim and take anti-malarials whenever they feel a bit sick.

chloroquine has been shown to prevent and cure kung flu. So if anti-malarials used as a prevention measure are in use there would be no "masking", there would be no kung flu.

It remains to be seen if they will catch up or not. The true numbers may also be masked by limited testing, including of deceased people. There are so many other killer diseases running rampant in third world countries, for instance Malaria still kills half a million every year.

    Let's make a timeline here.

Mid January : the new year's celebrations have begun (they started on January 3rd this year and the actual new year's eve was on the 25th). The Chinese workers in Italy travel home to Wuhan. At the same time the number of actual corona cases are already high in Wuhan. The lockdown doesn't begin until January 23rd.

Late January : Many of the Chinese workers have returned from Wuhan before the lockdown started and many are carriers of the virus.

February 1st : The major of Florence tells people to "hug a Chinese" as an anti-racism measure.

The devil has been working overtime on this one.
