I did too!

Why?
I got tired of the manipulation of man concerning their giving to God.
I've heard all the "theories" and "formulas" concerning finances.
The last thing I need to hear is another man-made "formula" about how to give to get my needs met.
Does that mean I quit giving altogether? Absolutely not!
Let each one do (giving) just as he has purposed in his heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver (2 Cor 9:7).
I give to the church I attend, and I give to world missions, home and abroad.
I give what God the Holy Spirit tells me to give in my heart. There is no set amount, 10% etc.
I've learned years ago if you want God's blessings, specifically regarding finances released into your life, its not following a "formula" to get what you need from God.
The key is in developing your relationship with Him, where you understand all that He provides for you in His covenant with you, recognize Him as your Source, (Copeland mentioned this in the video above) and faithfully walk in obedience to the pattern He established concerning giving and receiving.
If you put God First, you have Him at Last.
