    Gays against modern LGBT activism

This is a recent article in the Norwegian Christian newspaper "Vårt Land" (Our Country). It's written by a columnist who's a lesbian feminist in her 50s.

Skeive organisasjoner vekker legitimt sinne - Vart Land

She's basically against most of the things that are more or less politically correct by now and which were pretty much unheard of 10-20 years ago.

If not for the identity politics I imagine there are many who oppose the activism....

Okay, I suppose the translation into English is more readable to me than it is to you.

Along with the "gist" of the topic, not all gays are liberal. My neighbor friend with a patriot/conservative radio talk show, about 3 years ago had a guy (gay) on to address the 2A issue. He wanted to clarify some gays enjoy open carry, concealed (CPL) and love to target shoot. You might find them under the name of the Pink Pistol Club. I laughed when first hearing him talk about it because I assumed that there wouldnt be anything but a total liberal stance against the 2A and gun rights.

There are a number of "conservative" gays. Some even opposed gay marriage and stood against their fellow gays that were trying to get businesses to go against their conscience.

Commendable, but conservative activism is no substitute for repenting of what God calls an abominable lifestyle.

True but it helps in bringing about a counter reaction to the massive gay propaganda and activism that's part of everyday media by now. Not among a few gays or among committed Christians but among the general population who are neither. I believe that boundaries for how far it should be possible to go with gay propaganda and activism are in the process of being set. History often develops in waves. For instance people were a lot more friendly towards sexual immorality in the 16-1700s than they were during the Victorian era then that changed again and so forth. I'm not saying that things will return towards Christianity morality in the absence of a great awakening, just that there will be a backlash against the current wave that will bring it down somewhat. Especially regarding all the transanity going on, there are a huge number of people including health professionals that are deeply worried about that by now.

True. There are even gay rodeos in California. I've see them advertised in the city. They have a lot of subcultures, butch men that you can't tell they are in that lifestyle unless you have discernment. A lot of them do not like the sissyfied acting gays. I've seen my share of weird here lol.
