That is one of the most bizarre articles I've read in a long while.

There are some people who choose to be religious in order to better express their deep hatred towards God. Doesn't necessarily mean they understand the gospel, it could be that they are relating to God as Judge and nothing more than that. I think I can spot some people like that in the photo in the article. Kind of like "Our sin, in your face, God. Take that !". There are also people who feel more sinful when being religious while sinning. Some people walk around with vibrators strapped on, in public. Some people in nun's outfits. Some people are nuns and walk around in public with vibrators strapped on, and the combination is the whole point to being a nun. I think I can spot the same phenomenon (not literally the same act) in the photo as well. Reprobates ? I don't know, maybe. But I agree with njtom, that is about as bizarre as it gets. It reminds me of the following verse :
2 Peter 3:3 scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts,
4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”
Or at least the same attitude. Sinning in God's face because he isn't going to judge them immediately so they could as well scoff at him while doing it.
