    Our area has the body armor company “second chance”. When the owner/developer of the armor vests needed a human test subject, he turned the camera on, grabbed a .38, held it to his chest and pulled the trigger. That made for very controversial yet vibrant promo for his little known company. A pastor’s wife I know was a central person in that company.

    That was a rather nasty abrasion. The bruising had to be considerable. There are other vids showing heavier armor with overlapping plates meant to be worn outside of clothing. In one demonstration they used a rifle.
