My Monkee story.... It was the summer before 9th grade, 1966. I saved my money up to buy a air plane ticket and ticket to see the Monkee's in Spokane WA. My girlfriend save up to do the same. We flew to Spokane, stayed at my grandma's and my uncle bought us great tickets, center and about 6 rows from the stage. Since I was familiar with the arena, when the last song was almost done, I told her lets go. I knew where the cars would be exiting from the arena and we had a great spot along with may 10-15 other "smart" teenage girls. Yes, we got right up to the car/limo windows, there were two car/limo's and we got to both of them and they were waving at us....and then, onto the back of the trunk hanging on while they were waving at us...and of course the police pulled us off and of course we got right back on..... our only chance and memories tucked away... Rip Peter!

I hope he caught a ride on the Good Ol' Gospel Train this time instead of going to Clarksville!

Not a problem. Don't you remember, their biggest hit was "I'm a Believer."
