The incident took place while I was out of town and had been reported to the police dept. (DCF didn't know that), so I told them it was reported, go get the report. Turns out the Haitian cop who responded to the initial report didn't bother to press charges. So, they call in the Haitian cop and he is all "when I was a youth I would get hit with extension cords", blah, blah. So I asked them if they are going to arrest the Haitian cop for not reporting. Everybody goes sheepish, I walk out.
Crazy world.
