On one of the episodes Balelo brought in a Nintendo game cartridge and said he heard on the internet that it was valued at 100,000 so he brought it to a game buyer who basically offered him 10.00 or whatever. I dont recall laughing at any other episode but that one was funny. Not long after, his death was on the news.

I watched Storage Wars on occasion...

Until I read that it was 90% scripted, and that the Producers "planted" the interesting and valuable items in the lockers beforehand.

Yeah, I think that's when I quit watching it too.

American Pickers is scripted as are just about all other “reality” shows.

American Pickers too???!!! - Well, I should have known.

Watched a couple of episodes last night, as a matter of fact - Oh well, at least it's "entertaining" and there's no cussing, sex or violence.

But I dont think the scenes are purposely loaded.

I like that show too but it was always pretty obvious that they don't show up at places out of the blue since the cameras were already in the buildings when they entered. But I think a lot of the banter and at least some of the finds are unscripted.
