Most people would also brace themselves in the opposite direction that the wind was blowing!

That has been viral all day on FB. Then there was a follow up by Fox News as the Weather Channel lamely gave the reason as being the grass was wet and slippery. Sheesh. They think we believe anything thrown at us. Oh and then there is the spoof I posted this afternoon where the guy as being sprayed with a hose, a fan blowing and stuff thrown at him.

"indoctrination of the masses" is in their blood and it's showing there. I think this applies to all sides, it's typically agenda vs agenda. Even those who don't have an agenda to begin with tend to decide that they need to set up one in order to stall the agenda of the other side.

The cameraman is standing in shallow water. It's not as bad since there is water everywhere, it's just hard to tell how deep it is. Maybe the camerman is standing on "high ground".

I think it's clear: The hurricane shrunk drastically in intensity before hitting ground. But all of the media assets were in place, so they had do something to cover their investment.
