John Kerry admits to meeting Iranian officials to salvage nuclear deal

-Former Secretary of State John Kerry admitted Wednesday that he’s met with top Iranian officials in hopes of salvaging the scrapped nuclear deal — as he slammed the Trump administration for trying to further “isolate” Iran.

The one-time presidential candidate said he’s sat down with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif “three or four times” in places including Norway and Munich since leaving office last year.

“What I have done is tried to elicit from him what Iran might be willing to do in order to change the dynamic in the Middle East for the better,” Kerry explained in an interview with radio host Hugh Hewitt. “What do you do to try to get peace in Syria? I mean, those are the things that really are preoccupying, because those are the impediments to people, to Iran’s ability to convince people that it’s ready to embrace something different.”

Kerry was promoting his new memoir “Every Day is Extra” when he was asked about his rogue meetings over the nuclear deal, which Kerry helped broker in 2015 but President Trump pulled the US out of in May...

    That could be called collusion.

    And this...

...As Allahpundit at HotAir points out, Kerry has tried to undermine Trump before:

He's been accused of this before, with a different set of diplomats — the Palestinians. During the conversation, according to the report, Kerry asked [Hussein] Agha to convey a message to [Mahmoud] Abbas and ask him to "hold on and be strong." Tell him, he told Agha, "that he should stay strong in his spirit and play for time, that he will not break and will not yield to President Trump's demands." According to Kerry, Trump will not remain in office for a long time. It was reported that within a year there was a good chance that Trump would not be in the White House ... He asked Abbas, through Agha, not to attack the U.S. or the Trump administration, but to concentrate on personal attacks on Trump himself, whom Kerry says is solely and directly responsible for the situation.

Yep, sure sounds like collusion. He's acting like he's still Secretary of State or something....he's nothing, and didn't do anything well when he was the Secretary of State.
