    I remember seeing that movie in the theater when it was originally out. That scene is one of the most intense I have ever watched in a movie. I don't think it comes across the same on TV as it did in the theater. In case someone doesn't know we're talking about 'Deliverance'. Filmed here in north GA.

    One other thing, a lot of his movies were filmed here including Smokey and the Bandit. A lot of it was filmed in Jonesboro where I lived at the time. That car jump over the river, you can still see where it was set up if you know where to look.

    I saw it on HBO at home in ‘79. “The” scene with the perverts that culminated with Reynolds bow shot was stunning. With Reynolds at full draw, I will never forget. Intense, for real.
