If I hadn't seen all of those recent headlines and pics of him getting comfy with females, I wouldn't be as concerned, either. It's enough for me to hold off giving him my complete "two thumbs up" with regard to his relationship with Christ. I've been burned far too many times. I wish to be honest, he'd just give up music and the limelight for quite a while and just die to the fame thing and let God resurrect it when he's in a MUCH better place. That would be a lot more convincing to me.

Last night he simply wrote “breakthrough,” on an Instagram photograph of himself inside an elevator at the religious meeting.

While he is used to performing in front of legions of fans, the 21-year-old was content to be part of the audience as thousands of Hillsong faithful converged on Allphones Arena for the annual event...

And then there is this. http://citifmonline.com/2015/10/02/j...weed-on-stage/

Look, he needs to cool it on the Christian rhetoric until he has some semblance of order in his life. It is great that he has such a strongly Christian mother. I'm sure she prays for him all the time, but we all know that the children don't always follow the same path as the parents. I think that JB started out ok but now he's caught up in the glitz and the glamour and surrounded by people who will get him anything he wants whenever he wants it. I think he's sincere, but I also think he needs a lot more guidance. I agree with Catchy, he needs to stop performing for awhile until he's able to get his spiritual life in order, but we all know that isn't going to happen.

This is exactly what I was talking about! The pics of the ladies I had seen recently were of him partying with the ladies. Thanks for posting this. It makes me sad, but I'm not even remotely surprised.

Jesus once dictated a letter with these words: "You have a name that you are alive, but you are dead."

It has also been written, "You shall not take the name of the LORD in vain." What is taking the name of the LORD in vain? Is it simply using the Lord's name as a cuss word? No. It is much more than that. It is taking His name and then living contrary to that same name.

It is time that folks start pointing out that there is a huge difference between saying "THE PRAYER" and actually being born again. Jesus said that we must be born again. You can say all of the prayers that you want, but if you have not had the supernatural experience of being born again, then you are not saved.

Sadly, much of "RELIGION" in the Christian churches today teaches that we only need to say "THE PRAYER". The result is a whole lot of people taking the name of the Lord in vain. They say that they are alive, but are still indeed dead.

sigh .......... I said I'm glad to see him start to turn around. I said he has a praying mama. I said he's a KID who had a very sheltered life.

We all know our kids have to come to Jesus the same way we did, with brokenness, repentance and knowing our need for a Savior. Let us show him some grace.

Yes, it would be wonderful if he stepped out of the limelight for a season, but as it was said, it probably won't happen. Catchy, you mentioned Alice Cooper... how OLD was he when he finally did that?

And of course we know everything the media publishes is spot on, right?

I can't even begin to imagine what it's like, living in the spotlight the way these young celebrities do.

I really hope Justin is turning to his mom and pastor for guidance. I hope and pray that he allows a true and wise mentor into his life. He has a lot to give, WHEN he gets it right.

AJ, until Justin dies to the world of celebrity, fame, and fortune, he's in for a rough ride.

As for Alice Cooper, he was vomiting up blood and was a very serious alcoholic and I have no idea how old he was. He too, was raised in Church. But....his age wasn't the point I was making. Once Alice decided to allow Christ to heal and deliver him, he was diligent about discipleship, and was out of the limelight for some time. He even changes the lyrics to some of his songs now. The point is that fame, fortune, and celebrity can be a huge stumbling block for anybody, especially a new Believer.

Did you go to the links? I'm sorry AJ, but Justin has not crucified his flesh, and he did drink and smoke a joint onstage. That's not a media fabrication. It's on video.

We all want to root for Justin, but I fear for him. His mind is rife for deception if he does not learn to crucify his flesh. I can just see the enemy trying to get ahold of his mind. Look how far Miley Cyrus has fallen. The land of celebrity is a harsh reality.

It is also a problem because kids look up to him and want to emulate him. His bringing Christianity into smoking pot, drinking and fornicating will be confusing to his young fans. They are all so impressionable. As a 50 year old woman, I can roll my eyes and mutter a prayer, but a teenager who may not be a Christian, may be deceived into Justin/Miley/Britney's brand of Christianity which is a lie.

Exactly right. That's my concern as well.
