If I'm not mistaken he has been involved recently with Hillsong NYC. The Christian Post carries a lot of articles about him.

He's still cavorting and (seemingly) fornicating with da ladies, so......I pray that Justin isn't going to turn into another Jay Baker and embrace a different Jesus because he was clueless about what "being like Jesus" actually entails (renewing that mind, fleeing youthful lusts, and crucifying that flesh). I think Justin wanted out of his problems and turned to God....but he has not completely surrendered, from the recent reports I've seen of him cavorting with women.

*sigh..
another young person having an emotional moment.
will no one talk to him about counting the cost, and what being a disciple of our Lord means?
This poor young man needs some wise council.

If you were to watch the interview with his mom, it's very clear that they know who Jesus is. Don't we all turn to Jesus to get out of our problems and our pain? We recognize our need of a Savior?
The kid is only 21 years old. He was thrust into fame in 2010 with his first hit song, when he was only 15-16... After being raised in a strict Christian home, there would have been all KINDS of people out there who would want to show the "poor deprived Christian boy" what life is all about, show him how to have "fun" and help him spend his money!
I, for one, am really glad he's seeing the need to turn around and taking those first baby steps. His walk probably isn't going to be perfect and neither can we expect it to be... mine wasn't when I first started. He's being very vocal about Jesus and I hope and pray that God gives him the strength to keep talking and walking. He can affect an awful lot of young people as they watch him live for Jesus.

Well, they can learn from him if he IS living for Jesus. I'm sorry, AJ, we are just going to have to disagree. I disagree strongly because he's not living for Jesus. Baby steps or not. I have tons of respect for his mother, and I have hope for Justin, but he's not living for Jesus...not even close. Being "perfect" isn't what I expect, and I don't want to speak for others, but I don't think anyone else does, either. If he's truly living for Jesus, the Christians around him should be telling him to keep his pants zipped and to sit down and be quiet until he deals with that area of his flesh. I've had it with celebrities speaking about Jesus out of one side of their mouth and living like a heathen. They need to live quietly being discipled for years until they get control of their flesh and soul. Alice Cooper did it right, and has fruit many years later as a result. I hope that for Justin, but he's not there yet. He needs to be quiet until he can be a witness, not just talk about it.

He concerns me, it reminds me of Miley Cyrus when she still called herself a Christian.
