So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Yeah, I don't think this will fly in places like Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Detroit, well..maybe.

I know that may seem silly to some, but since he obeyed the Lord,he spends more time in prayer and doesn't miss any of it.
Maybe this is a God thing

Idols, I can see that. Some are all about the entire scene. Some just need to get back to surrendered living in Christ and not worry about their fantasy league and side betting. Beer has become a big idol in this context.

No beer here in our clan , but I do know what you are talking about. It’s most definitely apart of the sports culture and IMO demonstrates a false machismo.
When I was kid, I heard old time preachers preach against going to professional sports games & going to movies. I’ve not heard that in years, but sometimes I wonder if they saw something in the spirit coming on the horizon that I and many others didn’t see and even chuckled at. Hollywood for the most part is totally in alignment with the anti christ, pushing a godless agenda. However, just like Satan, they started out innocently.

I'm not trying to be old-time Pentecosty, and I'm not against sporting events, but several years after I got saved, somebody gave me tickets to a Falcons game (I think it was in the mid '90s), only time I've ever been, and I'm going to be honest with you, I felt like I was in a nightclub with 70 thousand people. Cheerleaders dancing, everybody loud of course, beer drinking everywhere, etc, and I just felt funny on the inside. Not saying I wouldn't go again, etc, but just being honest about how it made me feel. And I don't 'preach' against it or anything like that or think anything is wrong with it. Just my experience. Been to many Braves games (baseball) and a totally different atmosphere.

Yep, I went to a Monday Night Football game over a decade ago. I sensed worship, it was kinda creepy. I have been to a few games since then, maybe two but those were by invitation, it would have been rude for me to decline.
It's amazing what television cameras can do to make the thing look spectacular. In person it doesn't have that pizazz.

I think maybe men should just go out on Sunday and do their own man things instead of just watching.
Real men will be turning the channel until the camera stops recording these homosexual dancers. Absolutely disgusting that they are putting in queer dancers during the up-coming NFL season. Of coarse what do you expect! We are living in the last days before Jesus returns.

You normally don't see much of the cheerleaders on the televised games, but I'll betcha the cameras will linger on these two guys a lot.
