So it’s reported the factions (how ironic) are not getting along in an orderly and congenial fashion.

    Who’da thunk

    We laugh and laugh.

As Sue points out, there is no way it will ever get by congress.

(although.. years ago there was a break to make Jefferson -- a separate state from part of northern Ca.. It has passed part of congress.
    But, WWII happened... oh well..)
If you look at the size of the state you can see that it is way too large to have effective governing. Compare it to the East Coast and see how much better off the smaller states of the East coast are.

There is a great idea! Let's give the whole state back to Mexico, right before we invade them and straighten out that whole corrupt mess of a place who allows and encourages illegals to invade our sovereign nation. They have been an absolute corrupt mess for hundreds of years and are a huge part of the problem.

Which would make every citizen of Mexico a legal immigrant...

I don't care enough to spend any energy on it.
