Should her show be cancelled because of her "beliefs?" What do you think? Personally, when Ellen Pompeo point blank said she didn't want any Trump voters to watch her show, I stopped watching. My personal decision. I don't think Grey's Anatomy should be cancelled because of that. (not that it would! I'm just saying I would never call for that)

I think Roseanne is mentally ill. She totally lost her mind shortly before her show was cancelled the first time. I don't really think she is a racist, but I do think she is a foul-mouthed troll. I think most of the "outrage" at her comments has more to do with her support of Trump than what she said.
Yeah, Roseanne was on the bubble before her twitter remarks were made. ABC was already talking about toning down the political nature of her show so I'm sure this provided an easy kill. Had she been a Hillary supporter, it would have gone unnoticed. Leftists make racist comments all the time, no big deal for them to do it.

Most of them have well-established careers...Johnny Galeki, Sara Gilbert, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sarah Bernhardt to name a few. They'll be alright.

the 65-year-old actress was not apologetic about her previous controversial tweets -- which included sharing numerous right-wing conspiracy theories and remarks supporting President Donald Trump and some of his more divisive political policies -- noting that Barr "didn’t regret previous tweets she had to take down" and would say that she still believed in what she'd tweeted.

Following news of the show's cancellation, star Sara Gilbert -- who also served as an executive producer on the series -- responded to Barr's controversial remarks and the subsequent consequences.

"Roseanne’s recent comments about Valerie Jarrett, and so much more, are abhorrent and do not reflect the beliefs of our cast and crew or anyone associated with our show. I am disappointed in her actions to say the least," Gilbert wrote in a series of tweets. "This is incredibly sad and difficult for all of us, as we’ve created a show that we believe in, are proud of, and that audiences love— one that is separate and apart from the opinions and words of one cast member."

Plus you gotta remember too that if it wasn't cancelled, advertisers would leave the show like rats off a sinking ship!

I was thinking more about the crew. I went to school with a set designer for the TV Show Nashville, she had 6 years of work which she was very grateful for. To know your show is renewed, then just as quickly taken away has to be like a punch in the gut.

Agreed. That would be terrible to go thru.

An old adage, alcohol reveals what soberness conceals..a lot of really evil people appear very different from who they really are. However with Roseanne and her sense of humor I have little doubt at some point she really made the appearance connection between Jarrett and the Planet character....but that does not =racism...

Had she said that about anyone not in the Obama inner circle, the woman who lives in their DC house with them.....I doubt the fallout would have been nearly as severe...

Sorry, I am just not buying any of the excuses and justifications made for canceling the show....this was a political hatchet job....and I suspect the Obama's are the ones who put the ax in ABC's hand...

There is a strong relationship between the Obama's and Jarrett....and Jarrett is the one who organized the 'March for our lives' after the Florida shooting....they locked onto this not to let a good opportunity to shut her down pass by...

I always thought VJ looked like a weasel, not ape-like at all. She is Obamas handler, born in Iran, groomed from youth to support Muslim Brotherhood.
