Mom uses tazer on son to get him to Easter service
Talk about misinterpreting Scripture...
https://www.clickondetroit.com/news/...ona-police-say
A Phoenix, Arizona mother was arrested Sunday after allegedly using a stun gun to wake up her son for Easter church service.
Sharron Dobbins, 40, was arrested and charged with child abuse after police say she tased one of her sons.
"I said, 'Get up! It's Jesus' Day!'" Dobbins told KNXV. She said her kids wanted to hang out with friends instead of going to church service. That's when she allegedly went for the stun gun.
Nobody writes a book on the correct way of parenting," said Dobbins. "I tell my sons to honor thy mother and thy father or their days will be shortened and that's my favorite."

I'm sorry, but I couldn't help but chuckle.
(The kid probably smart-mouthed her and she snapped) - Not saying she was right, but just sayin'

Many of us got beat with extension cords for disobedience. Is being tazed worse that that?

My dad used a yardstick. Well, several yardsticks. They often broke as they crossed my bare backside. I have no regrets. I'm glad my dad punished me.

I and my siblings got a belt! But tazing is taking things too far, IMO. I wonder how the kid is doing now since he called the police. I guess Mom has been put on notice now.

If I would have called the police my mom would have kept beating me until they came. And she would have reached back and tried to beat me some more while they were arresting her. And then she would have warned me that I better not still be living in her house when she got out of jail.
Let's just say that Mom NEVER had to worry about us calling the police when we got our bee-hines whooped.

Her new one should be 'spare the taser and spoil the child'. ;)
