Thread: Shooting at Florida HS

I had lunch yesterday with some professional associates, and threw around some ideas to make things more effective for security in schools.
In the beginning, we were a little hesitant with our opinions, knowing how charged up people are on this.

Once everybody opened up to their own gun ownership, you kinda knew how to go about it easier.

Turns out one guy has an AR15, I used to own a FNC223 Sporter. For home defense, all legal, BTW.

Security in schools - false narrative.

The narrative - Why did Police State, Fusion Centers, Mass Surveillance, Stasi-like "See Something, Say Something", NSA, FBI fail? Why have we been lied to?

While we are supposed to be concerned about solutions to school shootings, grabbing guns, etc, etc.. The FBI worries about... the FBI.

And soon before Bowdich spoke Thursday, NRA chief executive Wayne LaPierre had called the FBI’s leadership “rogue.”

“Look, I don’t want to get into who says what, but I do want to project out to the public, is when I look through the prism of risk for our organization, I find the number one risk for our organization is losing the faith and confidence of the American people. Number one,” Bowdich said when asked about the criticism from the NRA and others.

Their NUMBER ONE concern is their budget, salaries, public perception. They are sickening.

Yeah, I get that - media and govt perspective, more than you'll know. At the same the same time family safety for all of us, its a human concern.
We talked alot about the spiritual roots, and that while practical improvements can help, the sin problem will find a way for manifestation.
We kinda came to the conclusion, that the best thing you can do is pray for that child's safety, that spouse's safety. There many ways for the enemy to try and destroy us. Thanks.

Gotta tell ya bro, there is a church on every corner down here (I'm 10 miles from school shooting), how that kid slipped through our cracks is painful to think about.

I took a kid under my wing 20 years ago, same situation, no father, drug addicted mom who died when he was in 10th grade. He calls me more than my daughters do (). He'll be by tomorrow with his wife and daughters, they want to talk about the shooting, but I think he already knows the answer. I thank God for that blessing.

This is a symptom of something not right in that department. The sheriff should be done. Deputies need more training and some ride along time with cops in major cities with high crime rates, where they have to face dangerous situations. Need to weed out those who don't have the stuff.

South Florida specifically Broward/Palm Beach Counties are heavily Democrat. Massive county budgets for LE, near 1 Billion a year, hugely corrupt.
