    Looks like judgment is afoot.

Here is the most detailed article I've read. Variety has been investigating for two months. I guess this was close to coming out anyway. This was basically his lifestyle and he did it for years, but nothing was ever done about it despite multitudes of complaints over the years. He even had a button under his desk to lock his office door from the inside so that he could make sexual advances without fear of being walked in on. How this hasn't ever come out before is amazing even with people around him protecting him.

Due to his public persona you could feel a little sorry for him. Not after you read this article. Major sleezeball with no regard for women or his wife at all.

It's interesting that people in the private sector are fired for this behavior, whereas elected politicians similarly exposed continue to enjoy the privilege of "serving" us.

Well, you can't just 'fire' a politician like that. That's the difference.

Here is my personal "conspiracy theory". Lauer must have done something to tick off one of the higher ups (someone higher than this "Andy Lack" and perhaps someone who is actually the real strings puller). He probably didn't "play ball" regarding something, refusing to do something that he was ordered to do. It is possible that he may have done or not done something and lost the protection from "the man" that he once enjoyed. Thus, "the man" made him pay for his insolence and disobedience. He was made an example for others who will follow him to see that the same one who helped you rise to fame and fortune can easily destroy you.

Sounds like something out of a Hollywood movies? I agree. But a lot of fiction is based on reality.

Besides, a lot of these celebrities do make covenants with Satan to get to where they are.

I can't imagine working with someone like that. The "ick" factor around someone like that must feel absolutely slimy, even when he's not targeting you. I also can't imagine what makes a man think he has the right to treat every woman like a piece of meat. Yeah, I know, it's demonic and coming into agreement with them... and then acting on it till it's so ingrained into the mind and flesh, it almost can't be resisted anymore.

    Makes me nauseous.

Bro, did you read the link I posted? The 'conspiracy theory' is that he is a total scumbag and scuzball toward women. He's a predator using his power against women sexually. Read this article. You won't have one iota of sympathy for him (not that you do now). Please read the article.

I read it. I hope my post did not sound like I sympathized with him. Far from it. I am just THEORIZING with how he may have gotten away with it for so long. It may be a totally whacked theory but I do know that sometimes people make "covenants" and this allows them to be PROTECTED while doing terrible things. They do something to break the covenant and the one protecting then destroys them

But please understand that I do not sympathize with what he has done. I do not condone it in the least.

Now, that being said, this man is loved by God and God wants to redeem his soul just as He does every other "scumbag" that Jesus died for. I was a "scumbag" before coming to Christ so I would hope that Matt Lauer will come to know my Savior.
