Why are you assuming he WASN'T on a watch list? In all likelihood he was, as were the boston bombers, 9-11 perps.

Transparency in Government!

IF there is a terrorist cell group involved it would actually make sense to keep it under wraps....for several obvious reasons...

Yes, the most obvious reason being that the surveillance state is an abject failure, wouldn't want the peeps to get a hold of that.

John, I do actually agree there are some things that should not be broadcast...if they are on the trail of such a group it seems ludicrous to tell the media all they know...

Sure they cover up failures...they may also have successes because they don't tell all...

Remember the Orlando shooter...his wife was not charged until over a year later because they kept a watch on her until she hung herself through physically supporting a terrorist organization...had the media known this she likely would not have been caught..

And yes, I believed the Orlando shooter should have been prevented from acting but you know we can't have it both ways...protect everyone's liberties AND protect all the people all the time...

You're just saying the same thing, that they are above the law, can serve themselves with full blessing.

The FBI and the "intelligence community" have severely over stepped their mandates. They now engage in domestic election tampering, they are pretty much perpetrating a political coup in broad daylight.

Of course most of what they do is "classified" and can't be discussed "openly" but we know it is for own good, they keep us safe.
