Well, Mr. Goodell and the owners are the ones who have been changing the rules to (hopefully) make the game safer. I would hope they're doing so because they believe the studies and want to mitigate the damage caused by the game, rather than just protect themselves from lawsuits, but who knows?

I respect and will defend their right to free speech/expression however I do believe they are a bunch of rich punks on steroids.

They won't be getting any money from me.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, Congress is trying to ram through the latest OCare repeal and replace bill. I suspect the criticism of the NFL is political "chaff", designed to divert the peoples' attention from what's really happening in "swamp land."

With time running short, the authors of the latest plan to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act shifted money in the bill to Alaska and Maine, which are represented by Republican senators who appear reluctant to support it.

The revised version of the bill, written by Senators Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, would provide extra money for an unnamed “high-spending low-density state,” a last-minute change seemingly aimed at Alaska and its holdout Republican senator, Lisa Murkowski, who has yet to say how she will vote. It would also send money toward Maine, whose Republican senator, Susan Collins, had said earlier on Sunday that she would almost certainly vote no.

I see that the Cowboys found a respectful solution on Monday night football last night. Good Job Cowboys!

The NFL lost the moral high ground when it let Kaepernick wear socks with pigs in police uniforms but threatened to fine the Dallas Cowboys for wanting to wear patches honoring four police officers shot last year.
