    Yep..Nope I didn't read # 2...:

Speechless...you can't even begin to debate that kind of ....of.....of......sigh.....speechless.
To compare human intercessors with our ONLY mediator for salvation is ....absurd, evil, deceptive...you name it.

Catholic Church uses five criteria in deciding to grant an annulment

...Some common grounds for annulment requests include that a petitioner never intended to be permanently married or faithful, and that mental illness or substance abuse prevented them from consenting to a lifelong marriage.
The nation's most famous Catholic family, the Kennedys, have been no strangers to the annulment process.
The late Massachusetts Sen. Edward M. Kennedy received an annulment from his first wife, Joan, in the 1990s after he admitted — according to her — that he wasn't being honest when he promised he'd be faithful.
His nephew, Joseph Kennedy II, had his marriage to Sheila Rauch Kennedy annulled after their divorce in 1991, arguing he was mentally incapable of entering into marriage at the time.
Rauch Kennedy, after learning years later that the church had granted her ex-husband an annulment, sought and won an appeal in 2007 from the Vatican that invalidated the annulment...

Sounds like a well-intentioned doctrine that has been abused, especially by those with the money to hire the right lawyers and with the necessary "connections".

Right, there's a lot of hoops to jump thru to kinda get there:

Q: In 1 Timothy it says that Jesus is our sole mediator, yet we pray to Mary and the Saints. Is that going against the Bible?

A: 1 Tim 2:5 says, “For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus...” “By praying to the saints, you Catholics are going against the Bible because you are making them mediators between God and man, and Jesus is our sole mediator ”

Well, let’s look and see why that interpretation doesn’t hold scriptural water. In the O.T. we see that Moses, Abraham, and Job interceded on behalf of others - that’s mediating between God and man. Plus, we know that it is okay to ask others here on earth to pray and intercede for us - that’s mediating between God and man. Once again, we have a situation where a passage of the Bible is being misinterpreted and misunderstood...
I remember when I was in grade school how that stuff used to confuse me, the nuns had their favorite saint to pray to and it would leave me wondering if I was praying to right one for the right thing. A lot of the saints had a designated role as the patron saint of some special area...St Christopher for traveling, St Anthony for lost items, St Jude for lost causes, etc.

That's sad..These 'leaders' have done the same thing the Pharisees did with the law of Moses...integrated traditions that make the truth no longer effective...I can't imagine how many people have been deceived into their cultish religious practices and missed true salvation.

That's what happens when men are given a higher elevation than GOD gave them...they get puffed up with pride and self to the point they believe God has given them some 'special word' and then they twist scriptures to fit...perfect deception if one eliminates the Holy Spirit as the teacher and replaces HIM with a man...
