She's obviously trying to save her carreer. But if she had apologized to the president personally and the president had accepted her apology then things would have been easier for her. Her merely apologizing to the viewers makes it seem phony, as if she's merely sorry about the reaction and not the act itself. "I'm so sorry I got caught" type mentality.

Usually, but not always. Besides, the apology is owed to the President and his family, not any of us. She needs to apologize directly to them. JS
I totally understand where you are coming from and I am like you I usually give a person the benefit of the doubt. But in this case, the fruit of her heart is on full display.

Most people were suspicious about her apology but her news conference proved it wasn't sincere at all. She said she was intentionally going after Barron and had no apology for Melania. Her career is toast. the news conference was a total disaster and she's panicking now. Even some on the far left are distancing themselves from her because she just doesn't know how to keep her mouth shut. She's become an embarrassment and a liability to them.

She's totally lost it. Even the woman in red who introduced KG, calling Trump the most tyrannical and woman hating president in history? Geeeesssshhhh....... and publicly saying she's going after an 11yo boy? She's nuts.

Like Norvel Hayes always says...
"The devil is crazy".
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...
(Ephesians 4:17-18)
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...
(Psalm 1)

Where exactly does she say that she's going after the boy, apart from the clever editing together of more or less unrelated clips ?

She said that explicitly in December 2016.

I want to see that, not just clips strung together that make it look like she said that in the press conference. (0:52 and on)
