My mother said the women on The View, Whoopie, etc, were saying something like well hopefully she can come back from this like Billy Bush did with the Trump tape. See what they did there? Hey VW, read this article for more. Playing the victim up big time time and even justifying it with certain remarks. "This was clearly a parody of Trump's own sexist remarks..." This is not how you react when you're truly sorry and realize you're wrong. She didn't realize what kind of backlash she was going to get. Apparently it was very harsh from all around. Even liberals that you know don't find anything wrong with it are distancing themselves publicly.
