Federal Investigators Searching Televangelist Benny Hinn's Grapevine Offices
Neighbors saw agents swarm into the building about 9 a.m. Wednesday.
U.S. Postal Service inspectors and IRS criminal investigators returned Thursday to search the Grapevine offices of prominent televangelist Benny Hinn.
Though NBC 5 crews saw a large number of federal agents walking in and out of the offices with boxes, investigators would not say what they are looking for or even confirm they are investigating Hinn.
Neighbors saw the agents swarm into the building about 9 a.m. Wednesday.
"It looked like a big raid – people everywhere, police people everywhere out there, and just rushing in," said John Ebert, who works next door.

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
Hinn was one of
six well-known televangelists investigated by the Senate Finance Committee beginning in 2007.
I wonder if the other fellas are next?

I refuse to think the worse about brother Benny until proven otherwise. I choose to believe it's just another smear attack by the enemy to discredit an otherwise wonderful ministry.

Benny Hinn Ministries "remain confident in the days ahead" after the Internal Revenue Service and postal inspectors raided the headquarters earlier this week.
"As has been widely reported, Benny Hinn Ministries is cooperating fully with the governmental entities that are reviewing certain operations of the Church," the ministry posted to Facebook. "The ministry has undergone intense scrutiny over the years, and we remain confident that there will again be a positive and speedy outcome in the days ahead. Pastor Benny appreciates the love, prayers, and support of our beloved partners as we continue to minister the saving and healing Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world."
Federal agents raided the ministry headquarters in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, area April 26.
The raid occurred while Hinn was abroad in Paris.
In 2007, Hinn was one of six TV evangelists investigated by the Senate Finance Committee. Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, led the investigation.
All six were cleared of wrongdoing in 2011.

The raids are unusual and used only in extreme cases.

Hatred for televangelists could be the "extreme case". Time will tell what they have actually got.

I was thinking myself there's kinda of a rush to judgment by some.

My brother went to a BH miracle service a few months back here and he said there was about 600 present (in a church that sat 2,000+). That's a big drop from the huge convention centers he use to fill. My brother said Benny was very cranky, snapping at people, and looked weary. It seems like he could never recover from the whole divorce scandal and the ordeal with Paula White (even though his wife took him back later on). I would give him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the IRS.
