Yet Rupert the owner gets away with cheating on his wife and marrying his younger secretary and now they are divorced and he's dating gold digger Jerry Hall...what a mess

Rubert hit on a demographic, specifically Catholic.
O'Reilly, Hannity, Lot's of "Marys".. it's all Irish Catholic and it works for FOX news. Social conservatives, pro-life, pro-Christmas, etc but not genuine conservatives in the political sense.
I know most here probably weren't raised/born Catholic but if you were the FOX schtick would be obvious.

It's a big 'win' for the liberals. His show was the highest rated of all the news shows including the major networks. Although right before Megan Kelly left I think a few of her shows had higher ratings. I wonder if they can duplicate that with someone else. Chances are they won't.

I actually noticed that about FOX in general years ago - that their brand of "Christianity" was primarily Catholic, and O'Reilly most definitely.
I stopped watching O'Reilly years ago (actually, stopped watching FOX altogether for the most part) when he felt that he could tell Christians that his books (particularly, "Killing Jesus") were more factual than the Bible and chastized Christians for placing more faith in Scripture than in science. I do NOT rejoice over his present situation. On the contrary, quite saddened. We shall see how this all works out for FOX in the end.

This won't hurt Fox. They will take a brief hit and then back to business as usual.

Agreed! Greta and Megan leaving didn't hurt Fox. I think Tucker Carlson has been a huge surprise and will do great at 8:00. I'm not sure I like the idea of the "Five" sans Bolling at 9:00 though...

Where's Bolling going? Gutfield is my favorite though.

Good question - I wonder if he thought he'd get O'Reilly's job, since he subbed for him quite regularly?
Oh, and Dana is my favorite on The Five.

Whose Bolling?
But anyway, if I ever decided to watch FOX on a regular basis it would definitely be because of Gutfield. He's funny.
