Super Model Chrissy Teigen Boasts...Jesus isn't Shaping my Anything
Supermodel and TV personality Chrissy Teigen, who is married to "All Of Me" crooner John Legend, has declared that she does not let Jesus Christ take charge of her life.
Teigen made the declaration after posting on her Twitter account (@chrissyteigen) about the recent Women's March in Washington. "I went to the women's march. I successfully escaped the escape room. I went to Saturday Night Live. Yesterday was A DELIGHT," she tweeted.
Her post drew comments from a netizen named Jan Finochio, who described herself as a Christian mother and wife and a pastor as well. "Is Jesus shaping your personal culture or is the culture shaping you?? Just wondering," she asked Teigen.
The "Lip Sync Battle" star replied, "Jesus isn't shaping my anything." In response, Finochio warned Teigen that "like a rag doll the culture will use you and shake you." By then, Teigen appeared unwilling to extend the conversation any further and simply said, "OK, Jan."

I saw this immediately (and shuddered) after reading GIMJ posted part of Kenneth E. Hagin's book when he told the story of the Christian woman's rejection of Christ.
I know this young lady doesn't understand what she's saying, and the Lord most likely isn't holding it against her, however, she is treading on dangerous ground if she continues with this proclamation.

If she never had a relationship with Christ I can understand what she is saying, but it is still a sad testimony to today's culture. In the early days of my Christianity when I witnessed to sinners most of them did have respect for Jesus even if they were not ready to give their lives to Him. They might squirm and come up with multiple excuses but very few ever showed disrespect. These days people just don't seem to care how they treat the Lord.

I don't have time to look it up, but didn't John Lennon say something like "we're more popular then Jesus" re: the Beatles? But then later on in his life he seemed to have more respect for Christ (not saying he got saved or anything, just softened his stance)..
As for Chrissy, just pray for her...she might have just opened a little "opportunity" for God to show her he's real.

Woman, please let me explain: Perhaps Lennon was traveling down that "long and winding road" to where he needed some "help" (not just anybody). Later on he came to realize that "All you need is love (cause love is all you need)

Hmmmm, good point, Sis. - Let's pray that eventually she'll be saying "Jesus, take the wheel."

I know right! Growing up, we had a fear of God (most if it an unhealthy fear), but we didn't dare disrespect Him in that kind of way. If we did and a grown-up family member heard it, we'd be slapped so hard, we'd see stars.
My folks didn't play that. We couldn't even say anything bad about the weather because it was God's business. Didn't care if it was a dangerous storm or tornado, we'd better not say nothing bad about it. And some of us had to turn off the lights, turn off the TV, sit down and be quiet!
Now that I think about it, sitting in the dark with no lights and no TV on, we must've really looked cray cray to the "cloud of witnesses"'
