Just as a note, Obama commuted his sentence, but he didn't pardon him. The conviction still stands, etc. I read commuted and heard 'pardoned'. Not so.

Orwell had to have been a most interesting guy. I've seen some other quotes that are very thought provoking.

This first came to mind when Snowden did his exposing and then fled...a friend called him a traitor...I could not quite swallow that then and for sure not now with wikileaks and the Veritas project....

The real challenge is can we swallow any truth...not just the ones we already believed?

The DEFLECTION of media and the left when some of this stuff came out last year was as revealing as the stuff itself...they always attacked the messenger and would not even discuss the message....

Saw this quote and felt some of us need to be reminded because of all the PC hype about 'fake news' aimed a LOT at the revelations of ikileaks and the Veritas Project and the Planned Parentood undercover videos...the fake news push is an effort on the political left to silence 'non main stream media' by attempting to discredit them. When in fact so much of the revelations actually discredited the mainstream....funny how that works... BUT be aware...people who EXPOSE truth, even truths we don't want to hear, whistleblowers are NOT the enemy...the enemy is those who seek to silence them in order to lull Americans back to their 'American Dream Sleep..'

Don't get me wrong...there is an American dream but not the one that has been propagated in the past 50 or so years...

Quick question...what did this man reveal?

Apparently I'm out of the loop, what the connection between Assange being willing to be extradicted if Manning is released?
