It doesn't make any difference whether the cop crossed the line or not at the time. He is the one with the lawful authority and the ladies should have kept quiet and followed the orders of the police. They could have dealt with the issues later. This was not the time to make a scene. Do what the police want life will be better for everyone concerned.

So you believe if she were a white mother whose child was assaulted by a black man, he would've behaved the same? Even though I wasn't there, I'm positive were the scenario of which I just described were the case, he would've responded quite differently.
When your praise match your prayers, the answer will come.

Racism is real, but some cops are just jerks, period.

I despise racism in every form, ... and it exists in all colors ... and it comes in uniform and without uniform.

Some cops are definitely motivated by racism. They are filled with hate and bigotry. But there are also many cops who abuse authority and cross the lines and mistreat people regardless of racial issues.

A Black cop from our community is in prison right now for beating a Black handcuffed prisoner with a baton and breaking his leg. The cop was transporting the prisoner to the jail and during transit the man kept cussing and threatening the cop and his family. When they arrived at the facility, the cop jerked the man our of the car and began beating him with the stick. All was caught on camera at the entrance to the jail. Another cop was watching it as it happened through the window and did not stop it.

There are lots of documentation videos on PINAC web site and You Tube of cops crossing the lines and abusing people. Yes, many of the people being abused are Black but many are not. There are lots of cities paying lots of taxpayer money out in court costs and monetary awards for police malpractice. Even so, most get away with their abuse.

The cop in the video in this thread should be reprimanded, perhaps even fired, and the woman should be compensated by the city for this abuse.
