RAND Study: Differential impact on number of insured under major candidates' health care plans

The RAND corporation has completed an analysis of the two major candidates' health care proposals.
According to the study, Mr. Trump's plan will decrease the number of insured by 20.3 million, while
Mrs. Clinton's plan will increase the number by 9.1 million.

For those like myself that consider health care access to be a major component of the pro-life equation,
    this is important.

The combined effect of the Trump proposals is to decrease the number of insured by 20.3 million and increase the federal deficit by $5.8 billion. The combined effect of the Clinton proposals is to increase the number of insured by 9.1 million and increase the federal deficit by $88.5 billion. However, the combined scenarios should be interpreted with caution. While these scenarios represent the combined effects of the policies considered in this brief, both candidates have proposed additional health care policies that we have not modeled. As a result, the combined scenarios do not represent the full effect of either candidate's plan.
